Sunday 2nd of November 2014 - Country Cruise – Baz’s Resources Ramble

This month your President is taking you on a Country Cruise focused on Bauxite, Gold and the Origins of Iron Ore. As we haven’t had a long easy run for a while, that is what it is – about 230km through Jarrahdale, Boddington and Dwellingup, finishing at Cape Bouvard winery and brewery near Lake Clifton for lunch at about 12:30.

Your mining industry President chose the cruise route so that you will pass close to bauxite and gold mines and, at the end, you will find out how the Pilbara iron ore deposits were formed. Cruise notes come complete with a map of Kenorland!

We meet at the Cockburn Gate Shopping Centre in the car park near the Gate Bar & Bistro (Click here to view a map) at 9:00 and depart 9:30am sharp.
