10/11/05    05 MX-5 Japan Car Of The Year

"TOKYO, Japan--Mazda Motor Corporation announced today that the Mazda Roadster, known as the MX-5 in overseas markets, has won the Japan Car of the Year Award for 2005-2006. The final ballot resulted in the award being bestowed on the lightweight, open-top sports car, which was launched in Japan in August 2005."
