Drive In Movies

Moved from February because a suitable movie wasn't being screened
A warm summer’s night, the car’s roof is down and you’re watching a great movie with your favourite person next to you in the passenger seat..

Remember when Mum and Dad used to take you to the drive-in when you were young? Well you can still go and enjoy a film outdoors; the Galaxy Drive-In Theatre is still in operation! We meet at the usual Burswood location at 5:45 for a 6 pm sharp departure for a short cruise along the river and ocean to the Drive-in Theatre in Kingsley.

The movie starts at 7:30 and entry costs are $9 for adults, children 4-12 are $4 and under 4’s are free. The sound is available on your car stereo on 89.5 FM .

BYO drinks and dinner of choice or raid the snack bar. Don’t forget to bring a blanket as it may get cool later in the evening and if you want to sit outside of your car bring a chair and a portable FM radio (and extra batteries..)

They will be screening Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland staring Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter, Mia Wasikowska as Alice, Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen and Anne Hathaway as the White Queen. In this extension of Lewis Carroll's original stories, Alice, now 19, returns to the magical world from her childhood adventure, where she reunites with her old friends and learns of her true destiny; to end the Red Queen's reign of terror.
