Sunday 6th of September 2020 - Monthly Cruise - Glynn's Memorial Drive

At the start of the year fellow member Glynn Schragger unfortunately lost his battle with cancer. Three Dams and a Weir was one of Glynn’s favourite cruises and his family, including partner Diana, will join us on this cruise. Diana looks forward to catching up with members.

In Glynn's memory, we will be collecting for one of his favourite charities - The Cancer Council of Australia - and we respectfully ask that all participants make a donation on the day of a Aussie banknote per car to secure their set of cruise instructions.

Gary Wotzko will lead us for the 105 kilometre “3 Dams and a Weir” scenic cruise through the Perth hills with some nice twisty roads thrown in. The run ends at Sculpture Park in Mundaring for a picnic or BBQ lunch (there are free BBQ in the park) so bring a rug or chair and the sausages, steak, fish, mushrooms, fruit, coffee, tea, orange juice, champers, etc. If BYO is a bit daunting, the Mundaring shopping strip is just around the corner and if it rains the pub is across the road…

We meet at the Gosnells Civic Centre located between Albany Highway and Mills Road West in the parking area near Mills Road West (Click here to view a map) at 9:00 and depart 9:30am sharp.

As this is a special event, even if you don't usually attend the cruises give it a try, and help a worthy charity whilst having great fun.
