Sunday 2nd of April 2023 - Sunday Cruise - Northam Flying Fifty

We are off to the Northam Flying 50 races! Originally called 'Round the Houses', when the first street circuit race was held in Northam in 1952, the Northam Motor Sport Festival is organised by the Vintage Sports Car Club of WA and in its present form began in 1999!

The Northam Motorsport Festival is a free classic car event for all ages. The main streets of Northam are transformed into a circuit with classic racing cars competing in a regularity event. You can freely access the pits as well as Car Club display areas. There are the usual market stalls, retail, cafes and hotel outlets as well a huge show in the Sound Shell, and children's rides and activities in the family fun area. See event poster link (Note the Saturday event the day before has been cancelled)

Michael Clowes has organised a 140 km cruise to get there that takes in the roads north of Gidgegannup. We stop at the Bakers Hill Pie Shop for munchies before we continue to Northam via Spencers Brook.

We meet near the Muzz Buzz at the Midland Centrepoint Shopping Centre at 309 Great Eastern Highway, Midland Click here to view the Midland Center Point map at 9:00 for a 9:30 am start.

For this event the cruise notes are available to members by email so you can load them into your GPS. If you would like a set before the run, please click this Cruise Notes Request Link
