Sunday 6th of May 2012 - Monthly Cruise Master Mariners Cruise

The MX-5 Club cruise on the 1st Sunday of each month.

The club's resident Master Mariner is taking us on a cruise; don't worry it doesn't involve oceans but promises to be a nice 230km drive with plenty of tacks and gybes as Steve Harris avoids most of the doldrums near Perth. There are two regroups on the cruise where you will have the opportunity to go to the head.

We finish at the Carilley Estate winery in the Swan Valley where you can put some joe, grog or claret down the hatch and eat some geedunk, loblolly or a square meal whilst we shoot a line and share some scuttlebutt.

We gather at Burswood (click here to view a map) at 9am and we hang fire until 9:30 am when the old sea dog raises the blue peter and we cut and run.
