COMING EVENT

Sunday 21st of September 2025 - Shannons Classics on the Swan

Join Don Messenger at this year’s Shannons Classics on the Swan which is now confirmed for Sunday 21th of September 2025.

This is an opportunity to display our cars on Riverside Drive beside the beautiful Swan River and from there enjoy the events which will include:
• Perth City Sprint racing in the morning on Riverside Drive and through the Terrace Road car park
• Tarmac West finale stages are in the afternoon on the same course as the Perth City Sprint
• A wide range of displays of classic cars, motor bikes, trucks and other vehicles of interest.

The Club has registered to display 15 cars from the club and will have a marquee and BBQ at the event. Club Members and their partners are invited.

We meet at the Burswood Car Park (click here to view a map).
at 8:15 for a 8:30 sharp departure. We will leave as a group and proceed directly to the display area. Once established we will fire up a sausage sizzle breakfast. At noon we will have a build your own burger lunch. There will be water, soft drinks and a couple of bottles of wine (bring your own glass).

Participants need only bring a chair, a glass, and any special food and drink requirements. There will also be coffee and food vans across the road on Langley Park.

Please note that the earliest exit will be 3pm.

This event is only open to Members and their partner / passenger.
