Sunday 3rd of February 2013 - Monthly Cruise – A Trip to the Beach

The MX-5 Club cruise on the 1st Sunday of each month.

We gather in the carpark between the Burswood Dome and Great Eastern Highway at 9:00 and depart 9:30am sharp

This months short 55 km cruise ends some 30 km south of Perth at the John Graham Recreation Reserve at Woodman Point; there is a large grassed area that's watered so it's green all summer, big trees, shade pergolas, picnic tables, free electric BBQ's and toilets.

On the far side of the reserve is the Woodman Point Jetty and, if you want to go for a swim, the beach. There are also nature trials and an historic World War 2 site if you want to go for a walk.

Bring a picnic lunch and something to sit on. Whilst there usually is at least one ice-cream van, there is no shop at the reserve. The cruise does go past the Coogee Plaza Shopping Centre where you can grab some food at the Continental Deli, Brumby’s Bakery or the Fish ‘n’ Chips shop.
