Tuesday 9th of April 2019 - Midweek Evening Burger Run - Alfreds

Bev & Gary Wotzko take us on a midweek evening cruise to Alfred’s Kitchen, the longest running roadside burger kitchen in Perth, Australia, beckoning you with an outdoor fire, ample seating in a historic 1906 train carriage, and mouth-watering aromas from their famous burgers on the grill.

Alfred’s kitchen is named after its Founder Alfred Cook, an English migrant, who began selling hamburgers and soup from a small caravan on a site near the majestic sugar gums of Stirling Square almost three quarters of a century ago. The current owners, the Lawrence family purchased Alfred’s in 1986 and continued the tradition of serving great burgers as well as the best Ham & Pea soup in Perth.

Meeting point is Garvey Park,Fauntleroy Avenue, Ascot (If heading east on Great Eastern HWY turn left at Fauntleroy Ave and drive to the end)Meeting time is 6pm for 6:15pm start.

It is a good opportunity for potential members to come along, have a chat in an informal setting, and find out more about the club.
