Saturday 25th of May 2019 - Saturday Lunch Cruise - Last Drop Brewery, Canning Vale

Malcolm Wilcox will lead us on a 130 km Saturday morning cruise from Gosnells, looping through the southern hills, and ending up at the Last Drop Brewery for lunch.

From Gosnells we’ll take the back roads, avoiding the highway, to a re-group at the heritage Jarrahdale Café and General Store (established in 1872). As well as “fuelling up” on coffee/cake, we can take in the old atmosphere inside or out, or browse the local art and craft work, or second-hand books for sale.

On the next section we can open up the throttle a bit on some open country roads, before taking on some of the familiar twisty favourites past Canning Dam and through Pickering Brook and Bickley.

The Last Drop on Nicholson Road, Canning Vale is a Tudor-designed Pub and Restaurant. The complete brewery was transported to Perth from a medieval village in Bavaria in 1992. The restaurant has an extensive and varied menu, so has something to suit everyone. (Click here to view the Winter Menu)

We should arrive there about 12:15 pm. (Please ensure there is a designated driver if you intend to drink).
