Sunday 3rd of December 2023 - Sunday Cruise - Santa's Sleigh Ride Waroona

Come one come all to the Magical Santa's Sleigh Ride, join in the Christmas Spirit and decorate, baublate and tinselate yourselves and your sleigh as you join the last Sunday cruise for the year; there will be prizes for the Best Decorated Car and Best dressed Driver & Co-driver!

Carol Chapman will take you on a 155 km run up and down the scarp ending some 110 km from Perth at the 100+ year old historical Rec Hotel in Waroona for lunch. The first stage to the regroup point at the Bistro by the Dam includes the scenic drive from Byford via Jarrahdale along the edge of the Serpentine National Park. The second stage is in 3 parts; we cross over the Serpentine Dam and continue via Kingsbury Drive and the South Western Highway and Dell Park Road to Dwellingup on undulating roads with some moderate twisties. From Dwellingup to Nanga Brook the road becomes much narrower, and the forest closes in around you before the road opens up in the last section to Waroona with some great swervery to boot.

We meet at the Gosnells Civic Centre located between Albany Highway and Mills Road West in the parking area near Mills Road West (click here to view a map) at 9:00 and depart 9:30am sharp.
