COMING EVENT

Sunday 7th of July 2024 - Christmas in July - Chidlow Tavern

Let’s get together to celebrate the cool weather with a Christmas lunch at the Chidlow Tavern. Carol Chapman will be leading the convoy and John will be our Santa for the day handing out the Secret Santa presents. This is an RSVP event with prepayment required by close of business Friday 28 June 2024. 

We meet near the Muzz Buzz at the Midland Centrepoint Shopping Centre at 309 Great Eastern Highway, Midland (click here to view a map) at 9:00 and depart 9:30 am sharp.
We start off with a 75 km run to Bakers Hill Pie Shop for for a pit stop and morning coffee before heading off on a 34 km run to the Chidlow Tavern arriving around midday for lunch. 

There is an (optional) Secret Santa; please specify with your RSVP if you are participating and, if so, please gift wrap a present of $25 approx value per car and bring it with you on the day. Elf Carol will collect them at the start point. 

Costs for your Roast Christmas Lunch and dessert will be $40/head (TBC). Drinks can be purchased from the bar. There will be a buffet Xmas dinner of turkey and baked ham with potatoes, pumpkin, cauliflower cheese, carrots and peas and corn. Desert will be Christmas pudding and custard or apple crumble Please specify with your RSVP. If anyone needs gluten free please let us know.

Be sure to join in the Christmas Spirit, and decorate, baublate and tinselate your MX-sleigh and put on that special Christmas Day top if you have one, or wear those Christmas earrings.
