09/11/21 - Vale David Hughes

Sad news that David Hughes passed away on the 29th of October. Thoughts are with Karen, his family, and friends.

David was a huge part of the Mazda Australia family and instrumental in including support for car clubs in the Mazda Australia budget. While head of Mazda WA he united the dealer network in Western Australia to give a standard discount rate to all our club members.
As well as holding the position as State Manager of Mazda WA, David was also Managing Director of Mazda South Africa, Nation Sales Manager and Senior Director of Sales at Mazda Australia. His loss will be felt across the Mazda family.

David's warm nature, astute business sense and ability to connect people and solve problems was admired by those who met him. Current club secretary of the Western Australian MX-5 Club, we are all saddened by the loss of such an influential and loved club member.
