07/11/10 - 20th Club Anniversary Cruise

To celebrate the 20th Anniversary of our Club we will re-enact / re-visit/ reprise / recreate the inaugural club cruise with the same trip leader in charge!

Brian Butterworth, at the time State Manager of MAZDA, organised the very first run of the MX-5 Club of WA Inc. on the 11th of November 1990. Brian searched the archives and found his notes of the inaugural cruise, an observation rally ending at Houghton Winery, and with some minor updating for road changes, etc. we are going to do it again�

We gather in the carpark between the Burswood Dome and Great Eastern Highway at 9:00 and depart 9:30am sharp

Houghton Winery has set apart a shaded grassed area for us to park our cars and have our picnic lunch; BYO blankets, chairs and tables!

Members get a discount at the cellar door and from around 2 pm a Jazz Band will be playing.

The Caf� offers lunches, coffee and cakes and is famous for their share platters for two.
